HULTDIN System AB is one of the leading manufacturers of components for timber harvesting machinery. Its timber grapples, grapple saws, and hydraulic sawing modules. The products are used by many OEMs – and have become the “industrial standard” in this sector. Common to all products are their strict alignment to effectiveness and economy over their entire lifecycle in the customer’s machine pool.
Beyond products with global market leadership – Among grapples, grapple saws, and hydraulic saw units there are a number of highly interesting products known only to specialists. For example, HULTDINS suspensions on timber loading cranes are an absolute must for every truck in Sweden and are used by leading crane manufacturers worldwide. The active load space (ALS) for forwarders and the mobile bridge for forest machinery are innovative products that to date are being used predominantly in Northern Europe. INDEXATOR – The highest precision for perfect surfaces
INDEXATOR is the market leader in rotators for forest machines and timber handling. This company can be traced back to the courageous and ingenious entrepreneur Allan Jonsson, who together with Karl-Ragnar Åström founded Cranab, which hived off the company Indexator in 1974. The special strength of INDEXATOR is the extraordinary precision of surface working. The planeness of the running and sealing faces is compared and optimised on the scale of a few atoms. This culminates in low wear and hence a long service life. These differences in quality then become obvious, especially after thousands of working hours under gruelling conditions, just as in forestry and recycling. Indexator is top!

CLARK TRACKS offers an extensive range of plates for many different tyre types. The special strength of CLARK TRACKS is their particularly low impact on soil and their very high traction. The plates come with a range of options in the form of extensions and spike arrangements that further enhance the outstanding traction. The materials used are boron alloy steels that production processes born of many years of experience shape, harden, temper, and work into particularly wear resistant tracks. The benefits for the end user are their high utility value and long service life.

NORDCHAIN is one of the world’s leading producers of high quality skid chains for forest machinery and tractors. NORDCHAIN is backed by over 250 years of experience in steel and chain production. The extraordinary wear resistance hallmarking Gunnebo/NORDCHAIN forestry snow chains is lent by Swedish boron alloy steels. All NORDCHAIN forestry snow chains are hardened after assembly in a multistage process. This involves case hardening the chains for several hours at 900 °C, quenching, and finally tempering them in hot oil. This complex process safeguards great surface hardness and toughness. Nordchain forestry snow chains are characterised not only by their long service life, but also by their excellent grip and perfect fit.
