INDEXATOR swing joints and quick copplers for excavators
The swing joints is the most gentle solution for attaching a timber grapple or other equipment to a crane. Suitable brakes can suppress specifically swinging: this increases the working speed, reduces material fatigue on the crane, and prevents damage in confined spaces.
Quick copplers for fixed mount on excavators and Attachment plates for swing joints
Many excavators are fitted with quick copplers. Familiar types are Lehnhoff, OilQuick, and Verachtert. There are many different attachment plates for quick releases available for the HULTDINS MultiGrip series grapples and as top sections for the INDEXATOR XR rotators. Attachment plates for quick copplers are also available with swing joints for dangle mount on excavators.
