Subsequent installation of grappel-saws on forest machines:
Easy to retrofit: the new SuperSaw EasyConnect grapple saw by HULTDINS. It can be operated using the existing hydraulic lines and the existing INDEXATOR grapple rotator, which means it can also be used on cranes with internal hoses like Epsilon and Mesera.
Grapple saws for timber harvesting:
A grapple saw on the skidder can make harvesting hardwood a great deal easier. The trees are felled by forestry workers and the trunks separated at the line for industrial timber. The skidder collects the unfinished stems and uses the grapple saw to separate the assortments on the skid road or landing.
The grapple saw is particularly efficient when working with strong hardwood when the crowns are processed into wood fuel.
Grapple saws in sawmills and wood industry:
Excavators are the “worker ants” in sawmills and industrial wood processing plants. They are used for internal transportation, loading and unloading. Fitted with a grapple saw, they can also be used to divide the valuable logs.
