CLARK TRACKS tracks: Individual tracks
All you need to know about customisation of your tracks to your bespoke needs.
Individual Tracks
Although CLARK TRACKS tracks offers a wide range of products, we understand that there are a number of variables that affect your selection, such as ground and working conditions or machine type. If you find that none of the tracks shown meet your needs fully, we can help you to customise existing track products to suit your requirements or, where viable, will consider the design and manufacture of a specialist track.
Special Track Designs
CLARK TRACKS tracks appreciates that terrains, preferences and general limitations of use may require a slightly different product from standard. We therefore offer to customise existing track products to suit your requirements or, where viable, will consider the design and manufacture of a specialist track.
Plate extensions
CLARK TRACKS tracks plates are so durable that they can be widened beyond the joining links. We can offer you the following options:
- Symmetrical extensions on both sides
- Asymmetrical extensions, e.g. when there is only little clearance to the cab or bogie lifting cylinder
- Rounded plate ends (with some exceptions)
We’ll be pleased to advise you on the options available for each of our plates
Please make sure that there is adequate clearance around the tyre
Extra width options are limited by track model and tooling constraints. Please email us to discuss options and availability.
Spikes
Spikes prevent longitudinal and lateral slipping.
They keep the machine in position, including sideways on steep slopes. They help to transfer traction forces particularly on ice and brushwood. Depending on the type, our spikes are 40 to 50 mm high. The standard configuration is alternating rows of one spike per plate. The spikes are made of hardened boron alloy steel. They combine hardness and toughness for particularly long service lives.
The following options are available for our spikes:
- Without spikes – for flat terrain and minimum damage to forest roads
- Two spikes per plate are highly recommended, for reduced vibrations and increased traction
- The spikes can be arranged on the outside for minimised damage to forest roads or in alternating rows for the best grip
- You can also choose spikes of differing lengths (40 mm, 50 mm, 60 mm, and 70 mm) and arrangements
- Grousers 75 mm wide and 50 mm high
- Grousers of 75 mm wide RL50 profiles welded to TL95 plates
