CLARK TRACKS tracks: Soil protection

The TXL series is unique in matters of soil preservation.
A number of comparative studies verified that the TXL’s large profiled surface left no imprints even under the heaviest loads. Part of the secret lies in the profiled surface’s ability in effectively suppressing slip. When fitted in addition with alternating rows of double spikes, these tracks become ideal for work in mountainous areas. TXL comes with a virtually unlimited range of symmetrical and asymmetrical extensions. The typical widths for 710/45-26.5 tyres are 930 and 1000 mm. These tyres can also be fitted with versions up to 1150 mm wide.

TXCL is a combination of TXL150 and TL85.
The result is even better steep slope suitability than TXL. The track is perfectly ideal as an all year round and universal solution for harvesters and combination Skidders in mountainous areas.

• Fitted with additional spikes, it is also ideal for the front bogie of steep slope forwarders. TXCL can transfer high traction and braking forces and leaves no imprints
• TXCL goes very easy on forest roads
• Thanks to enhanced self cleaning, TXCL can also be used in medium snow depths.

Plates of special widths for TXL and TXCL
Plates of special widths for TXL and TXCL extensions are a popular option for enlarging the contact area and so increasing flotation. Owing to their ultra durable design, the plates can also be fitted with single sided extensions greater than 150 mm in width.
Extension options:

• Symmetrical extensions on both sides
• Asymmetrical extensions, e.g. when there is only little clearance to the cab or bogey lifting cylinder.
• Rounded plate ends (not all versions)

Terra XFX (TXFX) presents a combination of TXL150 and TL95 fitted with two additional grousers adopted from the Rocky (RL50) plate profile. This track combines high flotation properties and good traction for heavy machines. The TL95 plate with its wide grousers provide for good traction on steep slopes. Thanks to the large contact area of its grousers, the track is astonishingly gentle to forest roads. TXFX is the right choice for heavy forwarders working on soft soils and steep slopes.
