HULTDINS grapple saws: SuperSaw 555-S

SuperSaw 555-S is the grapple saw unit for production machines operating under gruelling working conditions.

The casing is particularly robust, and all components are installed in the protective housings. The fitted grapple saw is a SuperCut with 19 cc motor. The bar feed is controlled via the pressure and so it achieves a high efficiency. A high cutting performance requires 140–169 l/min of oil under 180 bar. The grapple saw can work with up to 65 kW depending on the performance of the grapple saw chain (Stihl RMHS max 65 kW). Either the 90 cm or the 100 cm bar length with .404″ pitch can be chosen for the original equipment. Bars with an overall length of 113 cm are also possible. The 100 cm bars are suitable for cutting logs up to 75 cm in diameter, the 113 cm versions up to 80 cm. The bar feed cylinder and the grapple saw motor are integrated in the SuperCut unit, with automatic hydraulic chain tensioning as standard. This grapple saw is used mainly on excavators and powerful skidders. Mounts are available in robust HD versions. You can choose either the 6 x M16 – 173 mm or the 6 x M20 – 203 mm pitch circle for the connection to the grapple and rotator. For excavators greater than 18 t, we recommend the 6 x M20 – 203 mm pitch circle, which then matches the Indexator rotator GV124-S-203. SuperSaw 555-S is a high performance, longlife grapple saw for continuous operations. SuperSaw 555-S can be attached to all SuperGrip I grapples up to 720-S-VM, all SuperGrip II grapples, all HULTDINS TL grapples, and various MultiGrip grapples.
