HULTDINS grapple saws: SuperSaw 6000-S

Grapple saw for large diameters and log bundles.

Cutting log bundles requires large feed forces because the separate logs shift against each other and the bar is locked in place under the strain. For large timber bundles over 80 cm in diameter, the ideal cutting solution takes the form of SuperSaw 6000-S, featuring a particularly large and strong cylinder for the bar feed. The fitted bars are ¾″ that can be up to 150 cm long. A pressure control system is installed for high efficiency. You can choose either the 40 cc (200–265 l/min) or the 60 cc (265–300 l/min) grapple saw motor. An automatic chain tensioning is fitted as standard. The maximum power consumption is limited by the 11H chain with 75 kW.

This grapple saw has been designed for larger sized excavators greater than 25 t. The mount is a HD version with 6 x M16 – 173 mm and 6 x M20 – 203 mm pitch circles. We recommend this grapple saw for excavators greater than 25 t. That the 6 x M20 – 203 pitch circle must be used for the INDEXATOR rotator GV124-S-203 then goes without saying.

SuperSaw 6000-S is suitable for the large grapples SG I 520-S-VM, 720-S-VM, and 1200. It is a grapple saw for continuous operations on a production machine.
