HULTDINS timber grapples: SuperGrip II-A
The unique A grapples feature claws with asymmetrically chamfered cutting edges.
Although it does look funny, it is an enormous improvement for the work of forwarder and chipper. The timber grapple “sucks up” everything that gets between its teeth. Picking up timber off a slope is every easy: you need only close the timber grapple’s teeth when it is just above the ground, then the logs simply roll in and are drawn up.
The timber grapple need no longer be aligned parallel to the slope – dirt and brushwood stay outside. This is of huge advantage when skidding brushwood for the chipper, and boosts skidding performance on a slope. The A timber grapple is also ideal for brush- and round wood chippers: the closed teeth make it easier to pick up round wood than with a brushwood timber grapple, and the claws are more rigid than the four prongs of a brushwood timber grapple.
HULTDINS A timber grapples feature the robust housing and the reinforced claws of the SuperGrip II-S models.
