CONTEST LES COGNÉES IN FRANCE, 22. & 23. JUNE 2019

Les Gets (France), near Geneva, becomes every two years the place of a great competition of mechanical skidding. The members of the association Les Cognées had the idea years ago, in a garage, to organize a competition with their forestry machines.

Over the years, the event has become a major exhibition, a competition full of action, bringing a total of 30,000 fans and enthusiastic spectators from all around the world together. Among others, Bobby Goodson from DMAX’s “Lumberjack Extreme” was visiting.

This year, the 8th skidding competition was held with the skipper. In the competition, machines and drivers compete and try to move the wood as ingeniously as possible on an obstacle course, without touching the stakes. The competitor who receives the least penalty points at the end of the course wins. This year Camox, HSM, Noah, Tigercat, Caterpillar and Latil participated. In total, there were 18 drivers competing with each other.

The HULTDINS grapples and the INDEXATOR rotators were presented to the competition by our French customers NOE RITTER FRANCE and OBERLE FOREST EQUIP.

In addition to this, several product combinations with HULTDINS grapples and INDEXATOR rotators on wood loading at were presented by NOE RITTER FRANCE and OBERLE FOREST EQUIP.
