INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMER SOLUTION: ENERGY WOOD GRAPPLE FOR CRANES/LOADERS

HULTDINS grapple SuperGrip I 300-R with the HULTDINS grapple-saw SuperSaw 550-19 for the installation on the excavator Sennebogen 718 with a telescopic crane.

Task of the customer:

Our customer is a distributor for construction machinery. They were looking for a grapple, suitable for dangerous tasks while cutting down timbers, to be used with the excavator Sennebogen 718 with a 13m telescopic boom.

They already had a HKS rotator with a Lehnhoff MS08 quick-change system.

Our solution:

HULTDINS grapple SuperGrip I 300-R: Built for weighing links, recommended for wood chippers and forwarders. The peculiarity of the HULTDINS series I R-grapples is the fact that the four prongs are made of multiple layers of high tensile structural steel.
The top of the grapple had to be reinforced for the installation, so it could be used with standing trees. In the meantime the mounting bracket MS 08 and the socket for the grapple-saw were installed.
The grapple-saw used was the HULTDINS SuperSaw 550-19. The control of the saw is rather uncomplicated and the excavator Sennebogen 718 has enough hydraulic power to operate with the 19ccm saw motor. (140-169l/min. with 180 bar required).
